High Court of Punjab and Haryana District & Sessions Judge Recruitment Notice 2015 – Applications are invited for 11 posts of Additional District & Session Judge for appointment to Punjab Superior Judicial Service through Competitive Examination under Punjab Superior Judicial Service Rules, 2007.

Eligibility Criteria for District Judge vacancy in PUnjab and Haryana High Court –

1. He/She must be a citizen of India
2. He/She must have been duly enrolled as a Advocate and must have been in practice for a period not less than seven years as on the last date of submission of application i.e. 30.04.2015.
3. He/She must have attained the age of 35 years and must not have attained the age of 45 years as on the last date of submission of applications i.e. 30.04.2015. (For SC/ST/BC candidates, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years and for physically handicapped candidates the upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years.)
4.He/She must not have more than on spouse living.
5. He/She must have passed matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language, specified by the Government from time to time.
